Our Annual Fundraising Event -- FOOD IS THEATRE -- was truly a night to remember. Our donors braved the rain and enjoyed an evening filled with lively performances, an array of auction packages, and a bounty of delicious eats by Cuisine and Company.  A special thank you to our friends from Distinctive for their fantastic tent set up. 

Virginia's First Lady Pamela Northam was our special guest of the evening as we all raised our glasses to toast our upcoming 40th Anniversary Season. Forty years of VSC also means celebrating the thousands of lives impacted by the work produced on the Wells Theatre stage and throughout Hampton Roads.

Barbara Ciara, Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist of WTKR News 3, was our fabulous host of the evening. 

Performers included Amma Osei, Meredith Noel, Derrick Cobey, and Roy George, whom are all cast in our season closing production of Crowns. The Hurrah Players closed the night with a stunning performance of "Food" from Oliver Twist.
