The Grand Reopening of the Wells Theatre was a fantastic night! We had a full house for the opening of A Streetcar Named Desire and for the preshow celebrations.
Live music was provided by GSA Jazz, the Norfolk State University Theatre Company, and the Harbor String Quartet with musicians from the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
Joining producing artistic director Tom Quaintance and associate producer Patrick Mullins for the ribbon cutting ceremony were vice mayor Dr. Theresa Whibley and Paul Fraim, former mayor and the president of the Slover Library Foundation.
