Theatre has always been a place for members of the LGBTQIA+ community to connect, network, and thrive in a society that historically doesnโt celebrate differences or otherness. From these communities, we achieved some of the greatest art our field has ever seen, and we want that art to continue to foster communities and spaces of positive understanding, togetherness, and inclusion. Our Hampton Roads Pride Night Out Subscription, in partnership with Hampton Roads Pride, brings professionals across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum together against the backdrop of exciting live theatre to find friends, build community, and foster a culture of understanding and love that begins in our Historic Wells Theatre.
